In short
- We store what you enter in Tranco so you can see it on any phone where you sign in to your account.
- We don't ask for your bank or card details, and we don't sell your data.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, we ask first whether you accept personalized ads.
- You can delete your account from the app at any time, and everything you entered is erased.
Who is responsible
Tranco is a personal project, developed and run by Josue Ruiz. He decides what is done with the data described in this policy, and for any question you can contact him at tranco.app.ar@gmail.com.
What data we store

Some things stay only on your phone and never reach us: a copy of your data for using the app offline, light or dark mode, language, the days you marked “No spending today”, the notifications you turned on and how you set up your Home screen.
If you unlock the app with your fingerprint or face, your phone handles it. Tranco never sees or stores your fingerprint or your face.
We download currency exchange rates from public sources. We don't send any of your data to show them.
What we use it for
Only to make Tranco work: storing and showing your data, keeping it the same on all your phones, sending the notifications you chose, keeping your account secure and preventing abuse. We don't use your expenses to recommend financial products, and we don't give them to anyone for that purpose.
Ads
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To choose and measure them, Google may use your phone's advertising ID, your approximate location (based on your IP address) and technical device data, according to its own advertising policy. Tranco doesn't share your expenses, income or email with Google.
Where the law requires it, before showing ads we ask whether you accept personalized ads, and you can change your answer in Profile → Legal → Ad privacy. You can also reset or turn off your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
Usage statistics
To learn which parts of Tranco are used and improve them, we use PostHog, an analytics service with servers in the United States.
- In the app we record which screens you open, some actions (for example, that you added an expense, without the amount or description), your phone model, operating system version and approximate country. They are linked to an internal account number, never to your email or name.
- On this website we record which pages are visited and which buttons are tapped, without cookies and without knowing who you are.
- We don't record your screen or what you type.
Crash reports
If the app suddenly closes or something fails, a report is sent to Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service, so we can find and fix the problem. The report says which part of the app failed, your phone model, the operating system and Tranco versions, and the date. It doesn't include your expenses, your income, your email or your name. Google keeps these reports for 90 days.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored in Supabase, a database service, on servers located in São Paulo, Brazil. It travels encrypted and each account can only read its own data. Supabase acts as our provider and doesn't use your data for anything else. Usage statistics are stored in PostHog and crash reports in Firebase (Google), both in the United States.
Argentina considers that Brazil and the United States do not provide an adequate level of data protection. By creating your account and accepting this policy, you consent to your data being stored in those countries, with the providers and for the purposes explained in this section.
How long we keep it
- As long as you have your account, we keep what you entered.
- What you delete goes to the trash and is permanently deleted after 30 days, or sooner if you delete it from the trash.
- If you delete your account, we immediately delete your profile, expenses, income, categories and payment methods.
- What stays on your phone is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data by writing to tranco.app.ar@gmail.com from your account's email. You can do almost everything yourself in the app: edit what you entered, change your preferences or delete your account. If you write to us, we answer access requests within 10 calendar days and correction or deletion requests within 5 business days.
The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as established in article 14, subsection 3 of Argentine Law No. 25,326.
The Agency for Access to Public Information (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública), as the Control Body of Law No. 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims filed by anyone whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the rules on personal data protection.
Minimum age
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Tranco account. If someone younger tries to sign up, the app doesn't create the account or store their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything important, we will let you know in the app before it takes effect. The date above shows the latest version.
